EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction. Our EPC contracts cover the complete scope: feasibility study, detailed engineering (PVsyst, structural), all permits and TEDAŞ grid connection, equipment supply (panels, inverters, racking, wiring), professional installation, commissioning, and final acceptance testing. You receive a turn-key plant ready for operation.
We typically work on projects from 100 kWp upward. For smaller residential systems under 50 kWp, we can refer you to our residential division. For commercial and industrial projects, the sweet spot is 200 kWp to 5 MWp where we can deliver the best value.
A 500 kWp rooftop system typically takes 8–12 weeks from contract signing to commissioning. This includes 3–4 weeks for permitting, 2 weeks for equipment delivery, and 3–4 weeks for installation and commissioning. Ground mount projects with utility grid connection may take 4–6 months due to additional permitting requirements.
We work exclusively with BloombergNEF Tier-1 equipment. For inverters: Huawei SUN2000 series, SMA Sunny Tripower, and SolarEdge HD-Wave. For panels: Jinko Tiger Neo, LONGi Hi-MO6, and Canadian Solar HiHero — all with minimum 30-year linear power warranty. We provide factory test reports and origin certificates for all equipment.
Performance Ratio (PR) measures how efficiently a solar system converts available solar energy into electrical output, accounting for losses from temperature, wiring, inverter efficiency, and soiling. A PR of 80% means the system produces 80% of what it theoretically could. We contractually guarantee a minimum PR of 78% and our installed fleet averages 81–84% — well above industry standard.
Yes. Turkey's net metering regulation (Lisanssız Üretim Yönetmeliği) allows systems up to 1 MW to feed excess energy into the grid. Surplus generation is credited at the retail tariff rate for 10 years. For systems above 1 MW, a separate generation license from EPDK is required. We handle all regulatory applications as part of our EPC scope.
We work with several Turkish banks offering green energy financing at preferential rates (typically 0.5–1% below standard commercial loans). We also structure Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) where a third-party investor finances the system and the client buys electricity at a fixed discounted rate.
